- Plum trees should be planted in late Winter or early Spring.
- Use a loamy, well-drained soil.
- Plant in a location that receives at least 6 – 8 hours of direct sun

- The size of the hole you dig needs to be a bit deeper and wider than the spread of the roots.
- When placing the tree in the hole shake the roots a bit to untangle the roots of the root ball.
- Water the tree well when it’s planted and then water frequently in the first weeks after planting.
- An established Plum tree should be watered once a week.
